前言
《滾石》雜誌在2015年發佈了最佳結他手 (Topic: 100 Greatest Guitarists) 的排行榜，選出了一百位結他手。挑選這百位結他手的投票人，都是來自不同樂隊成員 (Band 友) ，投票資格有超過50位樂隊成員，都是經驗豐富及知名的樂隊。
當中投票者的名單包括有Dave Davies (The Kinks)，Robby Krieger (The Doors)，Tom DeLonge (Blink-182)，Brian Bell (Weezer)及Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth)等樂隊成員。
談到結他手，當然不少得 Jimi Hendrix，這應該是每位熱愛結他人士的侯選結他手。Jimi Hendrix的Riff令人深刻，精湛的結他技術，巧妙控制歌曲節奏，把自己獨特的編曲風格放大，成為了不少音樂評論人的最佳侯選人物及經典作品。
