前言
1970s，70年代的音樂可喻為奠定了20世紀音樂的重要年代。黑膠大碟及錄音帶的年代，收音機FM/AM播放Trending 歌曲。在戰後嬰兒潮（Baby Boom），出生的人及他們的小孩，接觸當時的類比（Analogy）音樂，懂得享受生活，成為「專業」的音樂狂熱者，他們開始買音樂唱片。而Pitchfork 就推出了70年代200首使人印象深刻的歌曲。
當時的迪斯高（Disco）音樂，帶來音樂歷史上的重要改變。除此之外，更為時裝、電視、電影及廣告都帶來重要的影響。
